Greer Films Pty Ltd - Website Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Greer Films Pty Ltd ("Greer Films," "we," "our," "us"). By accessing our website and engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all our services, including Video Production, Social Media Management, and Wedding Videography.

2. Definitions

• "Client" refers to any individual, company, or entity engaging Greer Films for services.

• "Services" include videography, photography, audio recording, editing, social media management, and other digital content creation.

• "Raw Footage" refers to unedited video or photographic materials captured by Greer Films.

3. Booking & Deposits

• A 30% deposit is required upon acceptance of a quote for production and social media services.

• Invoices for production will be broken down into section of payment and progress on the one invoice. Clients are required to follow the progress payments specified on the invoice. 

• Wedding videography requires a $400 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

• Work may not commence until the deposit has been received.

• Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed upon in writing.

4. Payment Terms

• When invoices are issued, there is either a payment plan to align with the production contract or full payment due within 7 days of issue.

• Social Media invoices will be issued monthly (start or end to reflect package selection) and are due in 7 days. If a invoice is overdue for more than 14 days, Greer Films may pause all work. 

• Late payments may result in service delays and additional charges.

• Wedding packages; the final balance must be settled 7 days prior to the wedding date.

5. Service Terms & Deliverables

• Video projects and social media management services commence on the agreed start date and are subject to outlined project timelines.

• Wedding video editing can take up to 10 weeks from the wedding date.

• Any requested revisions beyond those outlined in the contract will incur additional fees.

6. Cancellation & Termination

• Social media management contracts require a 3-month minimum commitment; early termination incurs a 30% cancellation fee.

• Cancellation of video production services post-booking results in the loss of the deposit, with potential additional charges if work has commenced.

• If Greer Films must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund as applicable.

7. Intellectual Property & Ownership

• Greer Films retains full copyright over all Raw Footage, edited videos, and images. 

  • This can be amended prior to contract and amended to reflect client ownership in the cases of Government bodies. ​

• Clients receive the final edited product but do not have rights to Raw Footage unless otherwise agreed upon and paid for ($550 fee applies for raw files up to 45GB).
